We don't have a Black Angus close to us in the Bay Area, but D2 was gifted some gift cards and this one happens to be close to my brother's house... so why not. We took my mom along with us for an early Friday night dinner, around 4PM. Easily made reservations on Open Table and we were seated promptly. The place is HUGE with so many tables. I wasn't expecting that! There are quite a few options on the menu as well, and a "discounted menu" called The Square Cow if you happen to arrive before 6PM everyday. Mom is not a big eater but it was perfect for her and D2. D1 and I opted for "The Campfire Feast" which came with: a shared appetizer, 2 entrees of our choice with 2 sides, and a dessert. We opted for the 3 cheese garlic bread, I got the ribeye with mash and broccoli, and she got the salmon with mash and broccoli. We were stuffed by the time we were done but had we stayed we would have opted for the cowboy cookie with ice cream for dessert (think Pizookie), instead we took our slice of cheesecake home. Mom also got the salmon but with Salad and a baked potato. D2 opted for a burger with fries. They also serve hot bread similar to the one at Cheesecake Factory, but in big rounds and not loaves. Our server was awesome and attentive. I wouldn't have chosen @blackangussteakhouse if not for the gift cards but it was good and satisfying experience. Side note: pass on the cheesecake. The crust was blah and the strawberry sauce it comes with was gross.

I ordered these meals on Uber Eats, they had a buy one get one free special for both of them. Spent $50 for all 4 plates! Even came with bread and butter.. The steak was exactly how I wanted it cook, medium. The burger came pink as requested. I was pleasantly surprised with it the cheap price and being delivered, it felt like eating it from the restaurant!

Here is my two cents on the quantity quality of the food of the restaurant.. I had it delivered by Uber eats it was delivered in a reasonable amount of time still warm... Black Angus was running a special buy one get one free.. I got a 6 ounce top sirloin steak with a salad, a side of macaroni and cheese and four shrimp. Plus buy one get one for a dessert a large piece of chocolate cake with some ice cream. Also, was included was butter and a small section of bread with a side salad ... Well, I must say about this whoever on duty took very much pride in their work in their presentation of the food .. it arrived secure in their containers With no mess or fuss.. My steak was properly cooked at medium rare .. steak ... though I only got four shrimp. They arrived properly breaded and crispy along with excellent cocktail sauce with a slice of lemon.. I found the salad a fair portion, nicely presented and very fresh... All deliveries usually arrive something big deal wrong with them... considering the items in the distance, they came to my place. It was quite remarkable of how good everything turned out. It was almost like sitting at the restaurant itself.... Kudos to the employees and management who were on duty today. They did an excellent job... And this is a very rare thing that I I have found was deliveries in the Sacramento area of such a good job... Thank you to the crew at Black Angus I guess my biggest and only criticism would be the macaroni and cheese. It tasted fine enough, but I'm not big expert on the cheese and it was quite tasty otherwise.
